We are the UK's market leader in Silent Auction software for charity events.
Using printed cheque books, guests can bid for Silent Auction lots displayed on screens placed around the event. Volunteers input the bids via terminals, and a central server connected to plasma screens or projectors continually updates the highest bidders.
Other features include: total number of bids, total money raised, highest bidding table, rotating images, and post auction report outputs and we can supply all the software and hardware required.
The software has a hugely positive effect on the amounts raised. For example: the Silent Auction at the Grant and Anthea Summer Ball has seen an uplift from £27k to £143k using the system, and the Swaps Ball, in London, £4k to £102k.
Silent Auction's are an ideal additional fundraiser to run in conjunction with a major event, ie Ball, Dinner Dance, the possibilities are endless. Silent Auction's operate throughout the evening and do not interfere with the evening the way a public auction can.
Anthea Turner was recently quoted commenting on our software
“We’ve used the Silent Auction software and cheque book system at our annual Summer Ball since its inception in 2003 – and we wouldn’t be without it.
On the fundraising side, the system simply raises more money than any other silent auction format – last year (2005) we raised over £143,000, and that’s great news for the charities we support. The system also provides ‘print outs’ all the winners and bid history, and this makes collecting the money at the end of the evening just so simple.
On the other side, our Ball is as much about having a great time as raising money for our worthy causes. The Silent Auction system just adds to the fun; it’s engaging, competitive, our guests love seeing their names up on the big screens - and it creates a genuine ‘buzz’ that supports the rest of the evening’s entertainment. The special features, such as the highest bidding table and countdown timer, enhance the enjoyment further – and as with everything in the system, it’s all geared towards raising the most amount of money possible.
We wouldn’t consider putting our Ball on, or indeed any fundraising event, without using the system, and we can wholeheartedly recommend it anyone considering staging a charity function.”
